He cannot compete with Charlie Sheen for a troubled life, but for local stardom via reality TV he has done well for himself in using infamy as currency.
It all started with the drug overdose scandal in which he almost died, months after his dad was assassinated by his uncle. This brought in the tabloids. Shortly after Rahul was accused of bashing up his pilot wife Shweta.
This made him eligible for the newly-introduced concept of reality TV here. During Bigg Boss he was obsessed with Payal Rohatgi and Monica Bedi, the former moll of Abu Salem.
Flash forward to another reality show in which Rahul was offered a line-up of prospective brides to choose from.
He chose Dimpy the girl you see in these picture but soon she too, in July this year, raised a lament that he had been physically abusive.
Within three days, a Michael Jackson-lookalike doctor, Sachin Patkar, was conjured as the saviour of this troubled alliance.
Raju shindeRahul and Dimpy were working on their collective stress levels, audiences of this ongoing saga were told.
From what we see here, at a public ceremony to celebrate their ‘first wedding anniversary’, at which press was obviously called, Rahul and Dimpy look a far cry from allegations of bashing up. Wonder if the Michael Jackson-lookalike ‘doctor’ was breakdancing to Billie Jean in some corner…

Shoot stress and personal insecurity makes Bollywood couples opt for working holidays

Till the end of 2010 Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan took five vacations annually. And this superstar couple hid their exorbitant travel bills from their immediate family because they didn’t want to get lectured on how “they were blowing it all up.” In 2011 though, the star couples are getting more prudent in their approach to their breaks. “Earlier stars would hesitate to join their partners during work. Landing up on a film/commercial set wasn’t considered an ideal way to spend quality time with one another. However, now, there seems to be little choice. Even the most established actors are working around the clock this year,” says an insider. “And vacations will have to be ruled out unless they happen on the shooting location.” On February 23, Kajol boarded a flight to Bangkok to ring in her wedding anniversary (February 24) with Ajay Devgn. Bollywood’s high-profile couple Akshay and Twinkle say life is bliss

Akshay Kumar is flight-hopping from Dubai to Patiala gathering critical acclaim for his sensitive performance in Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House. Despite such a hectic itinerary, the actor has made it a point to return home to wife Twinkle Khanna on Valentine’s Day.
This handsome couple has spent a decade in marital bliss and Valentine’s is yet another occasion for them to seek each other out. Says Akshay, “Days like Valentine’s and our wedding anniversary definitely have a special significance. But honestly speaking my wife and I celebrate Valentine’s every week.”
The Bollywood A-lister explains that it is 10 years since they married, but Twinkle and he do not take each other for granted. Says he, “When planning a vacation I bring the plastic globe in our home and rotate it in front of Tina (Twinkle). She has to just put her finger on a place and we fly there for our next holiday with our son Aarav. Twinkle knows her every wish is my command. Whatever she desires, be it diamonds, a car or a villa; she has to ask and it will be hers. But the beauty of the whole thing is, that in the decade gone by, I have realised that what my wife really craves for, is my time. The four-month old babies will join in their parents’ wedding anniversary bash

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata’s babies Iqra and Shahraan have just received their passports. They are expected to travel abroad for the first time.
The twins who were born premature (October 2010), are now nearly four months old and this will be their first official outing. Iqra has light eyes but she looks like her mother Manyata and Shahraan is quite like our Sanju baba. And the reason why they will board that flight to Bangkok is because Mr and Mrs Dutt want the babies with them for their wedding anniversary on February 11. It so happens that Sanju is in Bangkok for the shooting of his home production Rascals. Mana is keen to join her husband there. However she wasn’t happy at the thought of leaving the babies back. Our source says, “Mana first checked with the doctors whether it is safe for the twins to travel. Since she got a go-ahead from the doctor, she has decided to take the kids, their nanny and the whole shebang that goes when you travel overseas with babies-in-arms.”

Om Puri led the celebrations at his first wife Seema Kapoor’s birthday party; Nandita Puri says she is very uncomfortable with this situation

After walking out Nandita Puri in a huff to stay with his first wife Seema Kapoor, Om later moved back in with Nandita for the sake of their son. They even celebrated their wedding anniversary together with close friends recently. But clearly, the actor wants now intends to keep Seema in his life as well.
On Wednesday night, Om was seen at Seema’s birthday bash at a suburban hotel. A source who was present at the party reveals, “Om and Seema looked very much in love and were clearly enjoying each other’s company.

The couple has been seen getting comfortable with each other at many events. While Dino was seen with Nandita again at her brother Bharat’s wedding last week, equations between them aren’t as smooth as they once were.
Dino had a tough time explaining his extra friendly encounter with Kangna Ranaut at Sanjay Dutt’s wedding anniversary, which was reported on February 15 in Mumbai Mirror.
