Tanu Weds Manu has an open run in its fourth and fifth weeks so has a chance to add another 5 crore nett business to its tally for a 37 crore nett lifetime total. The film should do a lifetime distributor share of around 16 crore.
World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles and its dubbed Hindi version Antariksh Ka Aakraman had poor first week with combined business of around 4 crore nett.

TANU WEDS MANU opened to a satisfactory response in North India this morning. The morning and noon shows were in 40% to 50% range, although the occupancy was better at several screens too. The response elsewhere ranged from average to below average [20% to 25%]. In any case, the industry was never expecting a thunderous start for the film, even though the promotions have been fantastic.
The film has the merits to grow with each passing day and even the audience feedback as well as reviews are positive, so the business should strengthen towards the evening and night shows and also during the course of the weekend.
