Sudhir Mishra was aghast to find his unreleased film uploaded on a popular website By Kunal M Shah (MUMBAI MIRROR; January 20, 2010)

Sudhir Mishra and the cast and crew of Tera Kya Hoga Johnny got the shock of their life when one of the crew members discovered that their entire film (in 10 minute clips) had been uploaded on the internet. The Neil Nitin Mukesh, Soha Ali Khan and Kaykay Menon-starrer is written and directed by Sudhir Mishra, while it is produced by Manu Kumaran, Sudhir Mishra and Tutu Sharma.

An official spokesperson of the film said, “We have filed a complaint at the cyber crime police station at the Bandra Kurla cyber crime department and we will file one at Juhu police station. We have also written to youtube and asked them to remove the footage as it is the most easily accessible website. We have formally made a complaint to them as well. The complaint at the Juhu Police station is at the second stage of investigation in which  the culprit will be booked. However, what has been uploaded is not the finished project and is the older cut of the film.”

Manu Kumaran, the producer of the Rs 12-crore film, said, “I was informed by one of our crew members Pankaj Sharma about this. We have made all the notified complaints and also spoken to all our suppliers who were working on the post-production of the film. However, we are to blame as it is also a system failure from our side. We need to be more careful.”
