Vikram Bhatt gets candid about his fallout with his former girlfriend, his kiss and make-up with the Bhatts, his search for true love and his fixation with the horror genre

While the director explains his fixation with selling fear, he manages to redeem himself, displaying his softer-side as he tells us about the petty feud with the Bhatts and how all is well now. Sadly, his friendship with Ameesha Patel has hit a road-block.

Now, as the director lives the benefits of a single no-strings-attached lifestyle, he has not given up on the hope to fall in love.

You are currently directing a film for Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt. Do tell us about the kiss and make-up.

(Laughs) Yes. When you look back and think about it, the reasons for drifting away are foggy in my memory. I owe both Boss (Mahesh Bhatt) and Mukeshji a lot, especially my career. It’s time to stop taking and start giving.

Considering you are directing the film, what is your take on Mahesh’s decision to axe Bipasha from Raaz 3?

I am unaware of the specific details of the conflict. I only know that a song which she was suppose to do for Murder 2 fell through. I am okay with whatever Bhattsaab and Mukeshji decide.

Speaking of fallouts, how come we didn’t see you at the launch of Ameesha Patel’s production house?

I was not invited.

But you two claim to be friends. Why would you not be invited?

I am sure she has her reasons not to invite me. More >
