Bipasha denies being with him, but his girlfriend of five years has walked away
Prithwish Ganguly (BOMBAY TIMES; March 26, 2011) South siren Shriya Saran and Rana Daggubati have split. The decision to break their five-year-old relationship (they managed to keep it discreet for the first three years) came after Shriya learnt about his proximity to Bipasha Basu during the shooting of Dum Maaro Dum, in which he debuts in Bollywood.
Shriya lost trust in her man after rumours of Rana-Bips first surfaced. Then came news of the Bips-John split and her worst fears were confirmed. An insider says, “Though Shriya and Rana never made their relationship public, everyone knew about it. It was understood that they would end up together someday. However, Rana started getting close to Bipasha and that’s when Shriya decided to end the relationship rather than wait around for him to outgrow his infatuation. It is learned that the real reason for their marriage going kaput is apparently because Ali ate up Sara’s hard-earned money

Though several reasons have been cited as to why the couple, who did not look like they were in love while at Bigg Boss house, might have called it quits, it learned that the real reason for their marriage going kaput is apparently because Ali ate up Sara’s hard-earned money.
A highly-placed source close to the couple reveals, “Sara was in a state of shock when she got out of Bigg Boss and reached her Lokhandwala home. She slowly started realising that Ali, with whom she had saved jointly, had used up all of the money. Sara right now has no penny left with her and has to start afresh in life and work harder because she also supports her family completely. Sara could not believe that Ali could have done this to her when she was away battling it out with contestants to win Bigg Boss.”

One of TV’s most loved couples, who shared a rock-solid marriage for 14 years, call it a day

The entire nation watched them on TV not too long ago, dancing, hand in hand, utterly in love. It’s sad but one of the most stable couples in Indian television, Rajeev and Delnaaz Paul, have developed fissures in their 14-year-old marriage.
Delnaaz has moved out of their house in Malad, and is currently living in another one that is two buildings away.
A source close to the couple told Mumbai Mirror, “There has been friction between Rajeev and Delnaaz for quite some time now. They have been living separately for the past two months.”
Explaining what led to the separation, the source said, “They have had tiffs over many issues. And over time, they just started feeling like two very different people living together. It happens sometimes when you stay together for a long time.”
When contacted, Rajeev simply said, “Delnaaz is a lovely person. Yes, she and I have a few issues, which we need to sort out. But frankly, I don’t wish to say anything more on this at this point of time.”

Shahid’s decision to stay off the TV show Koffee With Karan (as we reported on October 8, 2010), was probably a sane one; his relationship with Piggy Chops, which was always on shaky ground has now fully given way. Yes, they have split.
This time unfortunately, there seems to be no hopes of a reconciliation. Both Shahid and Priyanka decided to part ways mutually, as things were just not settling between them.
A source close to Priyanka reveals, “Shahid and Priyanka are fond of each other. But once they are in a relationship, things get more intense and cease to work. Both individuals have different perspectives on life and are career driven. The actors never went public about their relationship because they were always very uncertain about its status. Things always kept fluctuating and they were on and off for a long period. Only a few months ago did they patch up, only to break up though.”
Apparently things went downhill after Priyanka returned from her Khatron Ke Khiladi shoot in Brazil. The source adds, “The constant fights finally ended the relationship.”

Not all cricket-Bollywood link-ups go the Harbhajan Singh-Geeta Basra way. India’s fast bowler Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Isha Sharvani are back together and are trying to make things work, come hell or high water. In fact, Isha is making serious amendments to her list of priorities, now that Zaheer and she are giving their relationship a second chance.
Isha and Zaheer dated for nearly two years before calling it quits in 2007, post which they didn’t stay in touch. Both of them quietly stepped out of the media glare to get back to their respective careers. Interestingly, neither Zaheer nor Isha was linked with anyone else in these two years of separation from each other. Obviously, the two couldn’t sever emotional ties. Another famous cricketer-film actress relationship goes for a toss
Vickey Lalwani (MUMBAI MIRROR; June 24, 2010) India’s leading off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra have parted ways about two weeks ago. Not so long ago, Harbhajan had even introduced her to his parents during his sister Sandeep Kaur’s wedding in Jalandhar (Mumbai Mirror, March 19). The couple had even discussed marriage then.
Confirming the break-up, a friend of Geeta’s says, “Harbhajan called off the relationship. He is now going around telling friends that he is looking for a new girlfriend.”

At first Katrina took it in her stride and tried to smile through most of the questions. But soon, completely unnerved by the jibes and comments from the members of the press, Katrina lost all control over her emotions and blurted, “If Salman says we’ve split, it must be true.” She walked out of press conference soon after.
