She just shot for an episode of MTV Splitsvilla and compared to the open space outside, her green room seems rather congested. Sherlyn Chopra who is slated to co-host the upcoming season — after continuously standing under the sun for about an hour in front of the camera and contestants — is in her relax mode though.
However, the model-turned-actress maintains a healthy balance between being cautious and being sassy when she begins to talk. In a rather frank chat, she spills the beans on her film career, dabbling in television and life in general.
Do you consider yourself a controversial figure? (Pauses) No, not at all. On the contrary, I think I’m a very boring person. I go to work, cover long shifts without a sound, come back from work and then repeat the routine. I don’t have a sex life nor do I go out and chill like others do. Doesn’t that sound boring? (smiles)
How do your family react to your choices in your career? Do they have a say? They don’t have a say as such in what I do or don’t do. I basically make my own decisions. However, they are in good faith with me. Whenever I fly to Hyderabad to meet my mom, she’s very warm to me. I choose to believe that she’s genuine and things are all right between us.

Sherlyn Chopra creates online rage with boldest ever Kama Sutra video

Sherlyn Chopra did create a rage on the internet this weekend as she posted an uncensored video of her photoshoot for her forthcoming film ‘Kamasutra 3D’. This is the first time that an Indian actress has gone this bold for a film. In no time the video went viral and created 30000 views in a little over 24 hours.
Comments and praises have been pouring in for the actress since then. Some fans even went on to say that Sherlyn is youngistan’s Zeenat Aman. The cinematography and the filming quality of the video also has been appreciated.
Kamasutra 3D is an upcoming international movie being directed by Rupesh Paul. The film is based on Vātsyāyana’s Kama Sutra, the sacred Indian sex manual. The movie is all set in the backdrop of the real historical milieu and is produced under the banner of RPPL, cinematography by Sapan Narula. It is an Indo-US co-production movie.

Sherlyn Chopra, who recently hit headlines for shooting nude for an international magazine known for its provocative content, will be the leading lady of Kama Sutra to be made in 3D by Rupesh Paul. The director had announced his plans for the film when he premiered his maiden Hollywood venture Saint Dracula 3D at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
Confirming the news, the filmmaker said he is also planning to premiere Kama Sutra 3D at the same prestigious international film festival in 2013. He said, “Sherlyn has exotic Indian looks and a bold attitude to carry a role like this. The film will assure maximum utilization of her talent and beauty. Besides, it will also be challenging and exciting for me as a director to portray her in a new bolder avatar.” As for making it in 3D, he asserted, “3D would add that extra dimension to the sexual positions described in the ancient treatise on the art of love.”
It seems Sherlyn is all set to outdo Indira Verma and Sarita Choudhury, who acted in Mira Nair’s Kama Sutra — A Tale Of Love. While the two UK-born actresses reportedly had apprehensions about going nude and doing bold scenes, Chopra has no reservations, having bared all for her recent international photo opportunity.

Bollywood starlets — Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey — both uploaded risque images of themselves on twitter over the weekend in, supposedly, an attempt to rise up the popularity charts on the micro-blogging site.

The weekend saw twitterverse becoming the battle ground for two Bollywood starlets. Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey are both famous (or infamous) for putting up risque images of themselves on twitter and this weekend was no different.
Saturday and Sunday saw the two reportedly bombarding the site with risque images with Sherlyn Chopra, the first Indian to be featured on the cover of Playboy, taking the lead.
On late Saturday, Sherlyn Chopra, allegedly uploaded a series of images with the intention of trending worldwide on Twitter. She warned her followers about the explicit nature of the pictures before uploading them and even asked those likely to get offended to “unfollow her immediately”.
Not to be outdone, Poonam Pandey greeted her followers on Sunday morning and uploaded a series of ‘raunchy’ pictures of her own.
“#TheSherlynChopraLeague” and “CrazyForPoonamPandey” did get people logging on to Twitter and making the starlets trend on the micro-bloggin site for a while. But the craze didn’t last too long.
