Amitabh Bachchan to lend his voice to an important sequence in RA.One. To dub for the same today

With the RA.One release a mere 20 days away, Shah Rukh Khan seems to be waking up with one bright idea every day. Having roped in superstar Rajinikanth for a scene in the opus, Khan has now approached yet another superstar, Amitabh Bachchan to up the film’s star quotient further.

The Big B will now be seen (or rather heard) lending his baritone for the voice over in RA.One. In fact, he will be dubbing for the same today.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, “SRK is doing all that he can to make RA.One a success. This is his dream project. First he got his good friends Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra to do cameos.

Then SRK wanted Rajinikanth to be a part of his project. People thought it was crazy since Rajini sir was still recuperating from his illness. But Rajini sir, despite his health issues, agreed to come to Mumbai and shoot for the scene. After the shoot, everyone thought that the film was finally complete. Obviously SRK had other plans. He has now convinced Amitabh Bachchan to lend his voice to RA.One.”

“SRK wants Big B to do the voiceover for an extremely important sequence in the film. Anubhav Sinha, the director was also keen on having someone to do the voiceover,” added the source.

A lot has been said and shot in the past few months for Shah Rukh Khan’s film Ra.One. The latest being that none other than Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra will be doing a cameo in the film.

We give you a sneak peek of Sanjay Dutt’s look in the film. With his trademark tattooed forearms and angled aviator shades complete with a smoking cigar, Sanju looks the part of the fearless macho man.

Though details about his exact role in the film are yet to be revealed, we are sure that Baba will be seen at his stylist best in the film.

There has been growing buzz about Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra’s close friendship for months. The actress, who claims to get tongue-tied near Badshah Khan, brought in her birthday with him at Filmistan Studios on Sunday night.

PC, who is doing a cameo in Ra.One, was shooting with Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The trio was filming an action sequence. Post the shooting that ended at midnight, Khan gifted Priyanka an expensive acoustic guitar for her birthday. The actress loves musical instruments and enjoys playing music and singing.

On Sunday, SRK also presented Sanjay Dutt with a cruiser motorcycle costing over Rs 15 lakh. Says an eyewitness from the sets, “When SRK approached Sanju for a cameo in Ra.One, he immediately agreed but refused to discuss money for the part. Touched by his gesture, Khan wanted to do something special for him in return.”

Sanju’s passion for bikes is wellknown, so SRK decided to get him one as a token of appreciation. Reveals the source, “Dutt had been enquiring about a particular Italian model, so SRK arranged for the custommade bike to be imported direct from Italy. What’s interesting is that Dutt had bought some biking gear including a helmet, jacket and gloves of the Italian company from South Africa a few months ago, but didn’t buy the bike due to custom problems.” Shah Rukh also gifted Dutt an expensive watch along with the bike. Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra have come together for action-packed cameos in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One, directed by Anubhav Sinha. SRK also features in the scene with them. Dutt and PC are currently working together in Agneepath and were last seen in Plan in 2004.

Says a source close to Shah Rukh, “Sanju appreared in a song in Om Shanti Om but has never worked with SRK. Khan felt Ra.One needed some more drama with fun and action elements. Recently, Anubhav and he were discussing how Sanju had buffed up his body for Agneepath and were very impressed by his dedication to the role. The Ra.One team felt Sanju was looking outstanding and so decided to get him on board.” Shah Rukh asked Dutt, followed by Priyanka, to do a cameo in the film. “PC won’t have any romantic scenes with Shah Rukh. Instead, all three of them will come together in one very stylised action sequence. When they approached Sanju, his dates were blocked with Karan Johar for Agneepath. Karan graciously gave a few of Dutt’s dates for Ra.One, and both he and SRK requested Dutt to do the cameo.
