You could call it family tradition. The late Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, former Indian cricket captain, went to Oxford to learn French and Arabic. His son, the current Nawab of Pataudi and Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan followed in his father’s footsteps and went to Winchester College in Oxford after he finished school.

Now Saif wants nothing more than to see his teenage daughter Sara go to Oxford to study law. Sources say that both Amrita Singh and Saif are fully aware that their daughter Sara could join Bollywood in the future. However, Saif is keen that Sara should go to Oxford first. We hear from an insider that Saif was in the US when recent reports saying she had already signed a film appeared. He was quite upset about it.

Our source adds, “Saif will not oppose his daughter’s decision to join movies if she so desires. But as of now, he feels that his daughter, who is just 16 should ideally attend university; finish her education and then join films.”

One hears that Sara who dotes on her dad is happy to follow his advice and when the time comes, Saif will actually go to Oxford to get his little girl settled in a suitable college.

Desi Boyz seems a bit inapt for a film title, but when you consider the starcast and the story of the film the title transforms into perfection encompassing all aspects. Desi Boyz which is being directed by debutant Rohit Dhawan stars Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

The film which has already completed its first schedule is said to release this November. Bollywood Hungama came across these images of the film shoot featuring none other than the Khiladi Akshay himself at the famous Oxford University.

The film which marks Rohit Dhawan’s directorial debut is said to be an action comedy that also features Chitrangda Singh. Though the details of the film are being kept under tight wraps, we are sure that like father David Dhawan, Rohit too won’t fail to tickle our funny bone.
