Vikram Bhatt is believed to be making an erotic thriller where he is introducing Bengali actress, Paoli Dam along with Nikhil Dwivedi who is now known for choosing his scripts carefully. The film to be directed by Vivek Agnihotri (Chocolate, Goal) will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Macau. The film a revenge saga, sources say will push the envelope in sexuality like never seen before in Indian cinema. Paoli, who already has a record number of hits for her bold nude scenes in Chatarak which opened to rave reviews in Cannes, will not be a stranger to this but it will be interesting to note how Nikhil Dwivedi, who has apparently in the past opted out of a few noteworthy projects where any nudity or kissing is involved, will handle this bold thriller? Even Mani Ratnam had to finally use a body double for the nude scene involving Dwivedi in Raavan because the actor refused to drop his clothes.

Akshara Gowda, who is in news for her closeness with Yuvraj Singh, seems to have quite a colourful history that she is desperately trying to delete. BT has unearthed exclusive stills of her from her debut film Chitkabrey. As the film is nearing release, she has gone underground. The producer, Sunnet Arora, has been trying her number for over a month now but she has hasn’t reverted event though she is contractually bound to promote the film.
Sunnet says, “We don’t know what has happened to her. When she agreed to do the film, she knew what she had to do on camera and she did it willingly. Why make such a drama before the film’s release? When I met her, she was a bubbly, fun-loving girl who was totally confident about her body. In the fourth round of auditions, she was asked to show emotions for a love making scene and she had no issues going topless for half an hour for the shot. Her boldness got her the role. During the love making scene, she insisted on taking off her clothes to look real and gave fantastic expressions. But now she has disappeared.”

Anyone who was disappointed with Poonam Pandey’s ‘no-show’ after the World Cup, her latest rendevouz with the media at a recent event could make them partially happy.

Small time model, shot into limelight with her declarations to go nude for Team India, lands her first TV show

Her statements to strip down in public if India raises the Cricket World Cup 2011 and her exclusive show for the team seems to have paid off. Poonam Pandey will finally, kick-start her rather sluggish career with Khatron Ke Khiladi 4.
The 19-year old model has been cast as a contestant in the reality TV show to be hosted by Akshay Kumar. Pandey will participate in the fourth season of the show, which goes on floors in the third week of April.
A source says, “It is always good to have masala in reality shows. More the spice – more the possibility of garnering eyeballs. TV viewers would definitely like to see Poonam Pandey and her antics in their drawing rooms.” And we couldn’t agree more.
Almost as many people who wanted to see India lift that cup, also wanted to watch this girl strip.
Although the five-foot seven-inch voluptuous model did not keep the promise she made to the cricketers and the cricket lovers, her bold declarations alone, seems to have made her quite marketable.
She now stands a chance to win the coveted prize of the show, rumoured to be Rs 50 lakh this season.

India has won the World Cup. And as I write this the I can hear crackers bursting. People are out on the streets cheering away. It is a win every Indian will celebrate – for days to come.
That brings us to Poonam Pandey. For those who came in late. Poonam Pandey is a twenty something model who announced that she would bare all to support Team India if they win the world cup. See her photos here.
She has been a trending topic on Twitter ever since she made the announcement to bare all if Team India wins the world cup. This statement catapulted her to the limelight. Instant celebrity status followed. People – young and old, male and female – were looking for her after India trounced Pakistan at Mohali. The pretty lass was nowhere to be seen. It was later discovered that she was the star attraction at a bash in Mumbai.
As expected, her statement drew a lot of ire – including a court case filed against her. Did it deter Poonam? No sir, not at all. She reiterated that she will strip – come what may. Threats or no threats.
PETA, we hear has told Poonam to strip for the cause of animals. Would she be their mascot? I wonder.
The latest I heard, Poonam has sent a mail to the BCCI asking for permission to go ahead with her plans. And she cites books on psychology that stripping is therapeutic. But this was before Dhoni’s Dashers lifted the cup.
