When Taranjit Kaur Raina could not name the First Lady of America during a general knowledge task on MTV’s reality show Roadies, her partner’s response was to unzip his jeans. Vinay Abhishek slumped his head, walked fatalistically towards a wooden cabin and allowed a plastic tube to be inserted into his anus. What followed was a montage of tortured facial expressions, teeth-clenching, squeals and Abhishek scurrying to the bathroom. “Enema is a medical procedure to pump in a liquid that will clean up the intestines. Indigestion ka sara saamaan bahar nikal aata hai,” the show’s host Ranvvijay Singh says, nonchalantly chewing gum.

Enema could soon also be a procedure that television audiences get used to, given the increasingly indigestible nature of reality shows. From pixelated vital organs and Brazilian waxing to spanking and licking chilli sauce off skimpily clad women, the world of reality TV is busy creating new lows for itself with every passing season.

“I am appalled by reality shows in general,” says Arunabh Kumar, whose collective ‘The Viral Fever’ did a hilarious spoof of the Roadies auditions on Youtube. TV’s most recognised twins, Raghu and Rajiv, will play villains in Tees Maar Khan

Popular TV twins Raghu and Rajiv, who star in MTV Roadies, will make their joint film debut in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan that stars Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif.

Raghu and Rajiv will play identical twins in the film as well. A source reveals, “They will play the villains.” Confirming their casting, Farah told Mumbai Mirror, “They will have a new look in the film which will shock everybody.”

Apparently Farah has been an ardent follower of the reality show Roadies which is hosted by Raghu and Rajiv. “I have seen their work. They fit the role to a T,” she added.

A friend of Raghu and Rajiv added, “Both of them are very excited about Tees Maar Khan. They have got a great opportunity to prove themselves on the big screen together and they’ll grab it with both hands.”

On September 8, Mumbai Mirror broke the story of how boys and girls were asked to smooch each other at the Balaji office, if they were interested in being cast for a forthcoming show. A distraught Trupti Shukla, who auditioned at the Balaji office last month for the same project, is rather shaken up. “I need to tell you what transpired when I went there,” she told Mumbai Mirror yesterday.

Trupti says she auditioned at Sankraman (Goregaon) a couple of months ago for a show based on the fashion industry for Balaji. “After a few days, I got a call from a girl informing me that I had been shortlisted and that I should come to the Balaji office at Andheri. The show was meant to be something on the lines of an MTV Roadies or Splitsvilla. However, I was shocked when she told me that I was supposed to come in ‘minimal clothing’. My mother was flabbergasted but I still went. I did not adhere to the instructions.”

Describing what she witnessed, Trupti says, “Many girls hadn’t come in skimpy clothes but they had got some extra outfits that they were changing into. They soon changed into some rather revealing outfits. I, for my part, had worn jeans and a full-sleeved shirt; I hadn’t taken a change of clothing. More >

He started out with doing serials on the television, and now, after a slew of films, Irrfan Khan is heading back to TV. But this time around, it’s not a serial that has caught his fancy. “I will never do fiction on television. But yes, I am doing something different, something unique that I have never done before,” Irrfan says.

A little probing reveals that Irrfan is excited about being a part of MTV’s hugely popular travel-based reality show, Roadies. Irrfan admits that he is doing the show. He says, “Yes, I’m doing the next season of Roadies. I have always wanted to do it, despite my heavy film schedules, because travel is something I enjoy immensely. In fact, one of the perks of being an actor is that it takes you to various parts of the world.”

Irrfan looks forward to travelling within our country. “That’s exactly why I am agreeing to be a part of Roadies at a time when I can’t afford it. I am not being brought in as a judge or a contestant. I will be introduced into the show as a special commentator from the outside. What my exact role on the show, you’ll get to know only when you watch it,” Irrfan smiles.

Sex tape captures girl with stunning resemblance to popular MTV Roadies contestant, including the black thread around her neck

MTV Roadies finalist Palak once bitched about her breasts comparing them to “pimples”. But if a sex tape is to be believed Tamanna is surprisingly well endowed.

A 37-second sex tape with a girl, having a stunning resemblance to the Roadie, having sex with a boy has been posted on Rapidshare and Easyshare both video sharing websites.

Sujoy De, the man who apparently posted it on the Web in May, says on forum.desishock.com: “Before download don’t forget to say thanks.”

Cross Check: The girl in the sex tape, who looks like Tamanna, wears a crucifix pendant similar to the one that the Roadie sports (right, encircled).

Netizens are forwarding the tape to all and sundry. The sex-tape shows the reality TV contestant or someone who looks just like her having sex with a boy whose face cannot be seen.

Apart from the stunning semblance to the reality TV contestant, the girl shown in the sex-tape is also wearing a cross around her neck like Tamanna.

The lissom lass from Chandigarh was quite popular for her skirmishes with her burly counterpart Palak and her on-screen proximity to the Roadies winner Nauman.

The chemistry

She came out openly about her “close friendship” to Nauman when she was voted out. Nauman, on his part, confessed his fondness for the girl.
