Chirag Paswan, son of Rajya Sabha MP Ram Vilas Paswan makes his big screen debut next month

Politics has been a natural progress for many actors, but 26-year-old Chirag Paswan has already planned his journey down that road.

The light-eyed youngster and son of Rajya Sabha MP Ram Vilas Paswan prepares for his tryst with the glamour world opposite Kangna Ranaut in his debut Miley Naa Miley Hum that hits the screens on November 4. His love for showbiz began early in life. After watching a movie, he’d lock himself in the bathroom, stand in front of a mirror for hours replicating the movie his way. “I idolise Amitabh Bachchan, I can’t look beyond him. I would walk around shirtless after watching Salman’s films and started stuttering after watching Shah Rukh’s films,” laughs Chirag.

Anuj Saxena’s Miley Naa Miley Hum directed by Tanveer Khan is a romantic film with a serious message. The film also stars Neeru Singh Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge. Says the debutant actor, “I have got to romance three girls in my first film, I couldn’t have asked for anything more,” he winks. So what about romance in real life? “Offscreen, my life is pretty boring. I am not dating anyone. I am still single,” he sighs.

That brings us to his link-up with his leading lady during the making of the film. “Kangna and I are good friends but I realise ‘good friends’ is a different term in the industry. I am a shy person, am uncomfortable talking about link-ups, More >
