Ltd. And it is at this awards that Salman Khan will perform not once, but three times. Bollywood’s glam diva, Kareena Kapoor, too, will sizzle to her chartbuster songs of the year. Kareena said, “I am going to be performing to some of my favourite songs from this year and I really hope that the audiences enjoy my performance. 2012 has been a special year for me and this performance will be dedicated to all my fans who have showered me with their love and blessings.” The night will also bring together some scintillating performances by Anushka Sharma and Imran Khan, Remo D’souza and Prabhudeva, TV actors Sanjeeda Sheikh and Rithvik Dhanjani and many more. Malaika Arora Khan, who made the ditty Munni Badnaam Hui in her maiden home-production Dabangg, a national craze, opted for a slightly different role for the sequel.
While her husband Arbaaz is the director for Dabangg-2, Malaika wore the hat of the producer and she also personally supervised the making of the item song Fevicol that features Kareena Kapoor.
An excited Bebo says, “The song was choreographed by Farah Khan who I love working with. But what made Fevicol an even more memorable experience for me is the fact that it is produced by one of my closest friends Malaika. Malli just took charge of everything from the costumes, set to the props, and she should be given credit for making this song the craze it is.”

After being part of several 100-crore films including B-Town’s biggest hit 3 Idiots, one would expect Kareena Kapoor to be blasé about her upcoming films. But surprisingly the actor is as excited and eager to know the response for Talaash, as she was probably for her first film. “I want people to call and message me what they think. It’s a first-of-its-kind film and one of the most special roles in my career. I can’t wait for it to release,” gushes Kareena. It certainly is her first release after marriage to actor Saif Ali Khan. Does that add to the anxiety? “Not at all, everyone else seems to be going on about the fact that we are married. But in my mind, it’s all about celebrating being in love with and committed to Saif,” smiles Bebo. Kareena insists that she’s not worried about the lukewarm promotions of her film ‘Talaash’ as long as the Khan leads the way

Reema Kagti’s Talaash is finally releasing next week but the promotional activity continues to remain tepid. Perhaps it’s one of Aamir Khan’s well thoughout plans. Perhaps it’s not. In any case, Kareena Kapoor who is part of the film is not losing sleep as she has faith in the actor’s celebrated marketing tricks.
Moreover, Kareena has nothing but praises for her favourite actor. She has starred opposite Aamir in his last film 3 Idiots as well and adds she’s fortunate to be working in back-to-back films with him.
“I’m nobody to comment on Aamir’s marketing strategies. He’s a wizard in this field and we all know how a movie carries itself when his name is attached to it. I’m sure he must have come up with a distinct strategy after lot of brainstorming and even if there is just a week left, everything will work out in time. I’m quite certain of that happening,” she adds.
On being asked about the mystery surrounding the exact plot of the film, the green-eyed actress gushes that this is how it should be! “I genuinely think that’s the best part! Kareena Kapoor Khan is looking as fresh as dew. Her rosy pink complexion is glowing; the tell-tale signs of a newlywed bride. There are several film scripts jostling for space on the coffee table at her Bandra home. Obviously, marriage hasn’t made a dent in the demand for one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actors. And if I may add, easily one of the most accomplished ones. Over to Bebo.
One hears you haven’t attached Khan to your name yet? How can I not be Khan? Agreed everyone knows me as Kareena Kapoor. But my passport will have my name as Kareena Kapoor Khan. I never shied away from the fact that I’m in love and married. In fact, it’s a time to celebrate the fact that after five years of courtship, the relationship with Saif has culminated into something beautiful.
Besides the Khan name, you also have a title now. You are the Begum of Pataudi. It is more love and respect of the people that I value. What title? Movie Review: HEROINE by FENIL SETA

I often get a jolt when I see around a decade-old or half-a-decade old film. I express surprise at the fact that why the particular actress, who then ruled the roost, is no longer seen in Bollywood. She had a fan base, was lusted by many and was a terrific performer as well. But today she’s forgotten and younger actresses have taken over. Few actresses resort to reality shows or playing supporting roles to be in limelight. Others keep on signing films, even stupid ones, hoping one of them will click. Some refuse to accept that their time is over and we saw a dangerous and horrifying version of it 2 weeks back in Raaz 3! And then there are actresses, like the one in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, who can go to any lengths for stardom. But at what’s cost? That’s the question that Madhur Bhandarkar throws to the audiences in Heroine. Though it has its moments, it’s in no way in the league of Page 3, Corporate, Chandni Bar and other memorable films of Madhur. A good film but surely not the best!

Ever since Kareena Kapoor featured in her bright pink saree and dark blue blouse in her item song Halkat Jawaani in Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film, her costume became the talk of town. And now buzz is that the same ensemble is being auctioned for a cause.
Our source says, “The money will be donated to a charitable organisation, which Bebo is associated to.” There is also news that the Manish Malhotra-designed costume managed to create quite a buzz at the recently concluded Mumbai fashion week.

Shooting for Halkat Jawaani, the actress tells us how it’s a big change from her earlier classy dances

Kareena Kapoor worked hard for the much publicised item dance in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. Following her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s special diet for weeks, the actress achieved the required look – curvy and sexy. “In fact, most of the people on the sets are now following the diet,” revealed the actress. And finally, on Thursday, the hard work was put on film. The song Halkat Jawani recorded by Sunidhi Chauhan was ready to be shot. And Mirror was there for a sneak peek into the sizzling dance number in a city studio.
On the sets, we entered to find Madhur’s heroine busy chatting on the phone. We learned it’s break time. Inside, it was dark and cold. But the set was glowing with energy. The unit was busy rearranging the camera placement while Madhur stood in a corner with his cup of tea. “This is actually an award function where Kareena is performing. She has been mindblowing. We are moving to a new shot and she has stepped out,” the director explained the scene.
When Ganesh Acharya, who was busy choreographing the next shot, came down from the stage to catch up with Madhur, the filmmaker quipped, “Masterji is so much fun to work with.”

The aforementioned words aptly and also literally describe the lissome lass of Bollywood as she is the ‘Inaugural cover-girl’ of the mega launch issue of the world-famous fashion and lifestyle magazine Harpers’ Bazaar.
As we had (exclusively) carried the news earlier this week, the issue does contain some of the beautiful pictures of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan on the beaches of Mauritius. After seeing this couple romancing along the coastline, one wonders if this romance is enhancing the scenic beauty of the to-die-for beaches or is it the other way round!
