Bachchan senior to introduce the seven incorrigible brothers in Soham Shah’s remake of the 1982 classic Satte Pe Satta

The remake of the classic Satte Pe Satta (1982) will have Sanjay Dutt and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan in the key roles but one will also see the original male lead, Amitabh Bachchan, in the remake to be directed by Soham Shah.

Big B will introduce all the seven brothers in the opening credits of the film.

A source said, “The original Satte Pe Satta was a hit with Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in the lead roles. Director Soham Shah was very keen to have Mr Bachchan playing a cameo for the remake.

Soham had a word with him and asked him to do a song in the film. They both decided to have him in the beginning of the film where he will introduce all the seven brothers.”

The source added, “Amitabh Bachchan quite liked the idea and is looking forward to it. So far, the list of seven incorrigible brothers include, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemmu, Rajpal Yadav and debutant Siddhant Kapoor apart from Sanjay Dutt.

They are in talks with Omi Vaidya for the seventh male lead.”

Both Amitabh Bachchan and Soham Shah remained unavailable for comment.
