Vivek Oberoi is one man who, today, stands tall amongst all the actors of the present generation. Vivek also happens to be the same dude who had impressed one and all with his performances in films, starting with his debut Company, which was later followed by the Saathiya, the hard-hitting Yuva, the comic Masti, political Omkara, realistic Shootout at Lokhandwala, thriller Prince and the recently released bio pic Rakht Charitra.
Amidst all of this, Vivek also happens to be one of the hot and wanted names when it comes to brand endorsements. Despite the fact that he was offered a staggering amount to endorse a liquor product recently, this Oberoi junior stuck to his guns and politely refused the same, as endorsing any liquor or tobacco products does not feature in his scheme of things.

New media is now an inextricable part of our lives, with the cyber world being merely an extension of the real one, and boundaries now being indistinguishable. Some call it the great leveller, allowing people more means of connecting with each other. So when Sherlyn Chopra started tweeting some highly provocative and almostnaked pictures of herself, much to the delight of her followers, little did she realise that a few prudes out there would spoil the party. The titillating images have been condemned by them and not only have they threatened online to lodge an FIR against her but have also reported her to that site for lewd content. Sherlyn has taken this to heart. She reacts:
Firstly, has your tweeting allowed you more connections with your fans? I cannot imagine my life without my virtual friends who I believe are my support system. I’m a social networking addict. It’s a great platform to express oneself and stay connected with the world.
