He is indisputably correct about his name, his looks and his financial state, and most critics wholeheartedly agree with him about his talent. He is doing plenty of things right, because his films almost always make money and his demographic is golden: his fans range from ages 10 to 30 to 60, he has a surprisingly large female following and he is a cult figure on college campuses. Meet the man who brings the ‘House’ down with his funny and mad gags and sometimes even! Here’s an individual who’s stayed young and silly. I present you Sajid Khan. Actually, it’ll take an entire homepage of Bollywood Hungama to explain Sajid Khan. So I’m trying to trim it down. Trying to trim Sajid down? Na! Now for once, he just can’t sit straight, and this time he’s doubling it up in every department – his actors, his writing, his marketing, you name it. It’s called Housefull 2. The film is just about to start its shoot anytime soon. But all this might sound fun. Talking to Sajid makes you wonder how serious he is and by the end of the interview you start to ask the question again: ‘Was he?’ But the thing you get most of all from Sajid is the strange cocktail of yearning, vulnerability and vicious honest confessions, come what may, and that’s where I come in. UK’s Harrow Observer columnist and Bollywood Hungama‘s London correspondent gets everything out of Sajid Khan, barring his humour. Hasn’t he saved it for Housefull 2? You bet!
The Ghajini girl will now play Akshay Kumar’s love interest in Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2

After several aborted attempts to bring them together director Sajid Khan has finally managed to get Asin to star with Akshay Kumar in Housefull 2.
Deepika Padukone, who played Akshay’s romantic lead in Housefull will not be part of the sequel.
It must be mentioned that Deepika opted out of another project, Heer Aur Ranjha, which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who worked on Housefull as well.
Her dates were apparently becoming an issue as far as this film is concerned.
Heer Aur Ranjha has thus been pushed to year-end and now the makers are looking for a replacement for Deepika.
Meanwhile, Deepika had also been very keen on palying the lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Nadiadwala’s adaptation of 2 States. But grapevine has it that the makers no longer find her suitable for the role. So, ostensibly, Deepika is now out of all Nadiadwala projects.
Asin has replaced her in Housefull 2. Asin was to play the lead opposite Akshay Kumar much earlier in her career in Bollywood.A still from Housefull
This was when Priyadarshan had offered her De Dana Dan. However, Asin had opted out of that film then.
But considering her last film London Dreams turned out to be a box-office turkey, the actress can’t really pick and choose her films right now. Naturally, an offer to act in Housefull 2 opposite Akshay Kumar was More >

In his directorial debut Heyy Babyy, Sajid Khan had Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan as his leading men. In his second directorial venture, Housefull, Akshay and Riteish were joined by Arjun Rampal. Now in the sequel of Housefull, it’s John Abraham who would be sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.
Confirming the same, Sajid Khan says, “Yes John has been confirmed along with Akshay and Riteish for the sequel of Housefull. These are the only 3 names confirmed as of now; the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.”
When asked why John, Sajid says, “Why not John? When you see the film, you will get the answer to your question. On a serious note, it was a collective decision taken by us. Akshay and Riteish are very fond of him. He is a good friend of mine. This is the first time John will be working with Sajid Nadiadwala as well as with me. Besides John and Akshay shared great chemistry in Garam Masala and he fits the part perfectly in my film too.”
The sequel of Housefull will be Sajid’s next directorial venture post which he be directing a film for Vashu Bhagnani. “Yes…the sequel of Housefull goes on floors first in May-June 2011. Post that, I will be doing the film for Vashu Bhagnani.”
Considered to be archrivals, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone may now act together in the sequel to Housefull

That Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are professional rivals and can’t see eye to eye, is a story that has done the rounds in Bollywood for quite some time now. Added to this is their apparent animosity over Ranbir Kapoor. Reportedly, Ranbir ditched Deepika for Katrina, and since then the actresses have not been on talking terms.
However, in a shocking turn of events, one hears now that Katrina and Deepika will work together in the sequel to Sajid Khan’s Housefull.
The original star cast of Housefull had Deepika Padukone and now Katrina will be added to the new cast.
A source says, “The Housefull sequel will see a lot of new faces. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, the new list comprises of Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, John Abraham and Nana Patekar.”
The source adds, “But what will be exciting is to have Katrina and Deepika in the same frame. Both the actresses are not on good terms. Recently, Deepika’s statement on a chat show about wanting to see Katrina’s passport didn’t go down well with Katrina.”Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif
When contacted, director Sajid Khan said, “I am on the scripting stage at the moment. There are a lot of names that are confirmed and some still need to be. At the moment, I can More >

For NGE, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, its been surviving and scoring in that era of entertainment when the corporates, with their multi-million dollar fund raising & over-committing capacity, almost wiped out most of the individual production houses.

The New Year will trigger off with two new shots in the arm of his organization – the Saif Ali Khan starrer directed by Siddharth Anand based on Chetan Bhagat’s book ’2 States’, which starts shooting in January 2011 and the Shahid Kapoor starrer Heer And Ranjha directed by Sabbir Khan.
Both Saif & Shahid will be working with NGE for the first time. Also, this will be the first time that NGE will be filming two of its projects simultaneously and gearing both the films for 2011 release.
In the 2nd half of 2011, NGE will commence the sequel to its blockbuster Housefull, this time with one of its favourite superstars, Akshay Kumar.
