Rajinikanth can make everything right. But what happens when the superstar himself isn’t feeling too well? Shooting with his Rana leading lady Deepika Padukone, yesterday afternoon, Rajini complained of uneasiness and was rushed to Isabella hospital in Chennai.
The day started off fine. After finishing one shot for the mahurat, the 61-year-old actor started feeling a little uneasy. A source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Rajini Sir came to the mahurat on time. But he looked pretty off colour.
He had been unwell since the past two-three days. After some time, he said that he was feeling very uneasy. He was rushed to the hospital. We don’t know who went with him and who didn’t but his wife Lata was with him for sure. In fact, she had come with him for the mahurat.”

The filmmaker smiles mysteriously as he says, “Well you’ll have to watch the film to see the similarities between the reel and the real life characters who people are imagining that I have drawn inspiration from.’’ And though he won’t say it, talk is that in the plot line there is a passing reference to two industrialist brothers who are currently at war with each other.
Anyway, what RGV is ready to throw light on is the fact that he has modelled the character of his protagonist Amitabh Bachchan on the lines of a Dr Prannoy Roy. “When Prannoy launched his channel three decades ago he came with a lot of respectability and More >
