Adults turns children during 5th bday bash of Farah’s triplets
0Vickey Lalwani (MUMBAI MIRROR; February 12, 2013)
It was exactly five years back on February 11, 2008, fresh from the success of Om Shanti Om, Farah Khan delivered triplets. On Saturday, Farah and Shirish threw a cheerful bash at Farah’s brother Sajid Khan’s residence in Juhu. The party was hosted in the sprawling garden of the complex.
The guest list included Goldie Behl with wife Sonali Bendre, Raveena Tandon, Manoj Bajpayee with wife Neha, Sanjay Gupta with wife Anu and kids, Shrishti Behl, and of course Sajid’s girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez, among others. The star of the party turned out to be Abhishek Bachchan, who received with a roar from the kids.
A friend of Shirish told Mirror, “Friends of Farah’s triplets- Diva, Anya and Czar- had been telling Farah that they wanted to meet Abhishek. Farah decided that this was the best opportunity to please the kids. Abhishek who otherwise is a shy guy, readily agreed.” We believe, Abhishek is especially close to Czar.
A pop amusement park – with water rides and swings – kept the kids busy. But the top draw remained the toy train. The kids had a tough time competing with the adults for a ride on this one.
A couple of hours into the evening, the music picked up, drawing a beaming Raveena to the dance floor. She was joined by Farah. The sight of the two happy moms was enough to get the kids on their feet as well. Raveena gushed: “It was a fabulous party… we were behaving like kids!”
Shah Rukh-Shirish will never be best friends-Farah Khan
1…but Farah Khan is confident that their newfound equation will continue as it is she that both men love

What we see today is an extremely successful woman, but not many know that you had a very difficult childhood. My father Kamran Khan was a successful producer, director and actor in B-grade films. When I was born, we had three flats and were well-to-do. I was a pampered brat who used to go in an Impala to Linking Road to pick up a new LP every day. Mine was literally a ‘riches to rags’ story. When I was five years old, my father made a film Aisa Bhi Hota Hai with Ayan Mukerji’s father which was a big disaster. What we did not know at that time was that he had put all his money including our three flats at stake to make this movie. When the film flopped, life changed overnight for us. My mother’s jewellery had to be sold, as also two of our flats. But the worst part was that my dad took to drinking and everything started to deteriorate. My father stopped working and began to stay at home. He had always been the benefactor who looked after his entire joint family and was generous and helped people all the time. However, he was also a very proud man who refused to go and ask people for work. His pride came in the way of his getting work. My mother was too young to handle his failures at that time and had too much self-respect. When I was 13 years old, she decided to move out of my father’s home taking Sajid and me along with More >
Farah’s triplets to make first official public appearance?
0Farah Khan’s triplets to make their first official public appearance at a special screening of daddy Shirish Kunder’s upcoming film ‘Joker’
Jigar Shah (MID-DAY; August 22, 2012)
Close on the heels of our story ‘It’s no joke!’on how promotional activities around Shirish Kunder’s forthcoming film Joker were going rather thanda, we hear that wife Farah Khan has decided to take matters into her own hands.
Farah, who is the co-producer of the film, has decided to organise a special screening for just her three kids. A sources says, “The film has been getting great reviews from the kids. In fact, Farah has seen her kids going gaga over the aliens in the film.”
The source elaborates, “The screening is going to take place a day before the release of the film. It will be the first time that Farah will officially bring her kids Anya, Diva and Czar for a film screening. This will be their first public event.”
Farah Khan has a tummy tuck
0A few days back Farah Khan was spotted at a Bandra clinic. Sources revealed that the choreographer-director and now actress had gone under the knife for cosmetic reasons
Shaheen Parkar (MID-DAY; May 18, 2012)
Farah had got a tummy tuck done. Ironically, she went through the procedure after wrapping up the shoot for Bela Sehgal’s film Shirin Farhad Ki Nikal Padi in which she makes her acting debut opposite Boman Irani. What prompted the move was her loose, hanging stomach after the birth of her triplets — Anya, Diva and Czar — in 2008.
When asked about it, Farah as usual was honest. “Yes, I went through a tummy tuck. There is nothing to hide. I know many people who will refrain from talking about it.”
She adds, “I did not do it to pursue my acting aspirations, otherwise I would have done it before the film’s shoot began. It is just that as I had delivered triplets, my tummy was hanging. There was no way any amount of exercise and diet would help. It is something that I wanted to do for personal reasons. As I currently had time on hand, I went for it after doing extensive research on it. ”
Farah has been advised rest for a few weeks, and hopefully will recover in time for buddy Karan Johar’s 40th birthday bash later this month. “Otherwise I will have to attend it in a hospital gown!”
Farah Khan’s wrist injured
0Farah Khan is in acute pain as her left wrist has become completely immobile.
The choreographer-turned-director’s wrist bones have collapsed under stress for having worked too hard for the past few days.
A source close to Farah says, “She has been carrying her triplets Czar, Diva and Anya together in her arms quite a lot lately.
She doesn’t think twice before lifting up two kids at a time, which has harmed her wrists over time. She tried a lot of painkillers, sprays and ointments but none of them worked.”
Farah’s family members are very worried. Apparently, doctors have now advised her to undergo extensive tests.
When contacted, Farah said, “I am headed to get an MRI done.” Here is a mantra for you, Farah Om Shanti Om.
Farah, Shirish fly biz class; triplets, nannies fly economy?
0On a holiday trip to Thailand, Farah Khan and husband Shirish Kunder flew business class, while the kids and their nannies flew economy
Sonal Chawla (MUMBAI MIRROR; October 08, 2010)
On Tuesday night, choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan and her husband Shirish Kunder took off for a lavish holiday to Thailand. Not just the couple; they took their three children Czar, Anya and Diva as well. And that’s not all. The kids’ governesses also accompanied them. How adorable!
But here’s a shocker. While flying to their holiday destination, the couple was seated in business class and the kids and nannies in economy class.
An eyewitness reveals, “The entire family took off to Bangkok on Tuesday night. I saw Farah and Shirish seated in the business class (seat numbers: 2A and 2C). The kids Czar, Anya and Diva were seated in economy class (seat numbers 11 A, B and C) and their nannies Philomena D’souza, Mrs V Dhanavade and Mrs S Hadshi nearby (seat numbers 12 A, B and C). The business class was full, so there wasn’t any scope to get the kids and the nannies upgraded.”
Apparently, the triplets were shuttling between economy and business class, and were busy playing with each other, occasionally being cautioned by their nannies to be careful. “But the entire journey was quite pleasant,” adds the eyewitness.
It’s possible that only two tickets were available in business class for the kids but it might’ve been a problem to seat the third More >
Farah’s triplets reluctantly shoot for Tees Maar Khan
0By Joginder Tuteja, September 27, 2010 – 11:17 IST
Farah Khan’s kids – Diva, Czar and Anya – have perhaps not been bitten by the glamour world yet. Even though they were enticed enough to face the camera by their mother Farah Khan (who is the one of the most unabashed ‘masala’ film lover that Bollywood boasts of today), the triplets weren’t excited enough. This resulted in a funny shoot for Tees Maar Khan when the director (softly) called ‘action’.
“Poocho mat. I guess the toughest part of my shoot was to capture my kids well on camera”, Farah says in her inimitable manner, “Shirish and my production house is called ‘Three’s Company’ because of these three kids. As is the tradition with my films, I wanted to feature them for the end credit title roll of Tees Maar Khan. However, they just didn’t seem interested.”
What followed was quite some ‘improvisation’ that the Diva, Czar and Anya indulged in.
“Here I was pampering them with all the nice dresses and goodies. There was a special tuxedo that I had got designed for Czar. On the other hand, my daughters Diva and Anya were made to wear these beautiful birthday party dresses”, informs Farah, “While they were getting all dressed up, they were all fine and smiling. However, when I wanted them to put on their best show for camera, they just walked around at their own will.”
“Guess my famed command didn’t quite work with my own kids this time around”, she jokes, “The kind of expression that the three of them had More >
Farah Khan speaks about her new show (Must-read!)
0I was five years old in 1970 when my dad (actor-producer Kamran Khan) had a spate of hits. The films were not A-grade movies but he was doing very well in his own right. I remember we had the first Impala car. Sajid had just been born and I was this absolutely spoilt child. Then in 1971 he made a film called Aisa Bhi Hota Hai into which he put all his personal money and the film bombed on the opening Friday. I remember it because I had gone to the theatre on Friday very excitedly with my grandmother and the theatre was empty. By Monday people stopped coming to our house. It was like a funeral. Our house usually used to be full of people. But by Monday, it was empty. And then there were bad times for 15 years till 1985, when he died. It was a very hard time, especially for him.
• What are the good things you remember?
There are too many! I remember that everyday I had to go and buy a new record, by which I mean EPs or LPs. I was a spoilt child, so everyday, I was taken in the Impala car to Linking road, More >
Farah to show Happy New Year's script to SRK on MNIK's sets
0Farah Khan
Farah Khan is delighted that she will be enjoying the company of her good friends Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar in San Francisco. She left Mumbai last night. SRK has a bigger reason to look forward to her visit — he has been waiting to read the script of Farah’s next, Happy New Year. Her star friend has patiently waited for Farah to work on it for over a year.
Farah will be handing over the script of the first half of her forthcoming film, Happy New Year, to Shah Rukh. Farah also hopes to zero in on some technicians for her film while she is there.
So who will look after her triplets — Anya, Diva and Czar, when she is away? Farah replied, “That won’t be a problem. Shirish (Farah’s husband) is very co-operative. Moreover, I am not going for too long. I will be back in 5-6 days.”
After her return, Farah will start working on the script of the second half of Happy New Year. “It’s final now. We start shooting by end of this year,” she said.
