Jacqueline Fernandez’s refusal to lock lips with Hrithik Roshan has cost her the film, insiders claim boyfriend Sajid Khan might have prompted her decision
Vickey Lalwani (MUMBAI MIRROR; October 22, 2011)
From her first film Aladin to her latest release Murder 2, Jacqueline Fernandez had come a long way. And when the actress bagged Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2, everyone in the industry thought that the Sri Lankan beauty pageant winner has finally joined the big league in Bollywood.
Her biggest break till date, however, was Rakesh Roshan’s sequel to Krrish – a film that is no longer hers. Jacqueline, who refused to lock lips with lead actor Hrithik in the film is no longer a part of the superhero film.
Though many women in the country might find it strange, the actress did refuse to kiss Hrithik Roshan. Rumour has it, that it was under the influence of Sajid Khan, her boyfriend that the actress refused to get intimate with Hrithik.
“This eventually cost her the Krrish sequel,” said a source. Earlier, Sajid was not too happy with Jacqueline when she had allotted a few dates of Housefull 2 schedule to the Krrish sequel. (Mumbai Mirror, August 22, 2010).
Rakesh Roshan did not give up too easily. On Thursday, Roshan Sr landed up on the sets of Housefull 2 in Filmistan Studios to convince Jacqueline about the film. “But Rakesh’s visit to Filmistan proved to be a futile exercise,” said a source.
Added the source, “The meeting at Filmistan Studios ended on a very ugly note. More >

It’s going to be a one-to-one combat between Chitrangda and Vivek Oberoi in Krissh 2. And no fake shots, please. She is getting into shape to really take on Oberoi.
It’s a different body-type for Chitrangda Singh as she prepares to get fighting-fit for Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 2. When the sultry actress was invited to listen to her role, the first thing she was told was, she must look capable of taking on 8-10 men in fistfights, and that includes flipping over the beefy body-builders in the fight to finish.
Chitrangda obviously feels it’s a great challenge ahead for her. Says the actress, “I really need to look convincing doing this. I don’t want to look like Angelina Jolie in Salt…you know, too svelte to beat up the guys like she was shown to be. I want a body type like Halle Berry’s.”
To beat Berry’s body, Chitrangda starts “stress training” from August, right after she finishes shooting for Ishaan where she needs to look more feminine and seductive. “Oh, I am feminine and seductive in Krrish too,” she laughs. “But not the kind of girl any man would want to mess around with.”
In the film, Chitrangda would be shown changing into various avatars. Says a source, “Since it is a mutant’s role, she will be seen constantly transforming. Her character involves a lot of special effects…and a whole lot of very sexy styling.”
Among the many stunt scenes she is going to perform, there is one where Chitrangda gets on the floor with More >
Chitrangda Singh has bagged a role of a sexy female mutant in the Hrithik Roshan starrer
Subhash K Jha (MUMBAI MIRROR; March 29, 2011)
Chitrangda Singh is surely going places. And by that we don’t just mean London, where she was shooting Rohit Dhawan’s Desi Boyz recently.
The dusky damsel has been signed as Bollywood’s first female mutant, yes, that’s right, opposite Hrithik Roshan in the much talked about Krissh 2.
The actress from Delhi, who first got noticed in Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2005, has come a long way since then.
Apart from her earthy beauty, which made her an overnight sensation, her off-beat roles have been much acclaimed.
Chitrangda, who landed in Delhi after her London shoot, on Sunday night, was expected to rush to Mumbai this week and finalise her clothes, hair, look and even language for the mutant’s role in the Rakesh Roshan film.
Apparently Chitrangda’s transformation will be so drastic that even she will find it hard to recognise herself.
A source close to the project confirms, “There are two leading ladies in the film. Priyanka Chopra, who starred opposite Hrithik in Krissh (2006), will be back in the same role. The other major female protagonist will be played by Chitrangda.
They needed someone who could look earthy and ethereal. Both Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan decided Chitrangda was the best bet for the part of the sizzling female mutant.”
Apparently Rakesh Roshan decided on Chitrangda, after seeing her More >
