On spotting a co-passenger taking pictures of his former girlfriend, Ranveer Singh lost his temper
Not too long ago, Anushka Sharma parted ways with boyfriend Ranveer Singh. Cest la vie, life moved on. And turns out, Ranveer will soon be launched with Anushka in Yash Raj’s next Band Baaja Baaraat.
But this article won’t work wonders for his image. Recently, Ranveer got into a scuffle with a co-passenger on a flight from Mumbai to Delhi and the fight got violent.
Though the Delhi Police insist that no formal complaint was lodged, Ranveer was indeed present at the police station outside IGI Domestic Airport for over an hour and a half.
An eyewitness reveals, “Ranveer and Anuskha were flying business class to Delhi for promoting their movie. Ranveer suddenly spotted his co-passenger clicking pictures of Anushka. Ranveer got angry and a heated argument with the passenger followed. Things got sorted out when the cabin crew intervened. Just before landing, the captain asked the ground staff to arrange for security.”
Apparently, when transport was ararnged for the passengers to reach the terminal, Ranveer’s co-passenger requested the ground staff for a separate vehicle, saying he did not want to travel with Ranveer. That’s when Ranveer walked up to him and said, “Tu jaanta nahi mein kiska beta hoon”, until the staff intervened and took them away.”
The eyewitness adds, “Both of them went to the police station to lodge a complaint. In the meantime, a few calls were made and Ranveer’s car arrived to take him away.”
Confirming the story, the official spokesperson for Yash Raj said, “The matter now has been sorted out amicably and no complaints have been lodged.”
According to Inspector Suresh Chand Verma, Domestic Airport Police Station, Palam, Ranveer Singh and Uday Sahay (a 30-year-old, employed with a MNC) came to their police station to register a complaint. We have not lodged any complaint.”
Verma discounted any possibilities of a fistfight between Ranveer and Uday. “If there was any physical evidence we would first of all have put both the actor and Uday through medical test. Ranveer Singh is no star. He is no Ranbir Kapoor. Law will be equal for everyone.”
On a holiday trip to Thailand, Farah Khan and husband Shirish Kunder flew business class, while the kids and their nannies flew economy
On Tuesday night, choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan and her husband Shirish Kunder took off for a lavish holiday to Thailand. Not just the couple; they took their three children Czar, Anya and Diva as well. And that’s not all. The kids’ governesses also accompanied them. How adorable!
But here’s a shocker. While flying to their holiday destination, the couple was seated in business class and the kids and nannies in economy class.
An eyewitness reveals, “The entire family took off to Bangkok on Tuesday night. I saw Farah and Shirish seated in the business class (seat numbers: 2A and 2C). The kids Czar, Anya and Diva were seated in economy class (seat numbers 11 A, B and C) and their nannies Philomena D’souza, Mrs V Dhanavade and Mrs S Hadshi nearby (seat numbers 12 A, B and C). The business class was full, so there wasn’t any scope to get the kids and the nannies upgraded.”
Apparently, the triplets were shuttling between economy and business class, and were busy playing with each other, occasionally being cautioned by their nannies to be careful. “But the entire journey was quite pleasant,” adds the eyewitness.
It’s possible that only two tickets were available in business class for the kids but it might’ve been a problem to seat the third one then. So, the unavailability of adequate number of tickets can surely work as a genuine reason in favour of the couple.
But interestingly, daddy Shirish isn’t counting on better availability of tickets next time. When contacted, he said, “There is a little clarification. Maids were in economy and the babies were with us. After Tees Maar Khan becomes a big success, we should be in a position to the take the maids too in business class.” By ‘after’ you mean ‘if’ right?
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor took off on a day-long vacation on September 9
On second thoughts, it is beginning to seem as though Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are announcing to the world that they’re back together as a couple.
First, on her way to Brazil to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi, Piggy Chops failed to evade the paparazzi at the airport, after being dropped there by Shahid. And now, she has done something even better. The actress took off for a day-long trip to Goa with boyfriend Shahid, oblivious of our watchful eye of course.
Priyanka left for Brazil on August 16 and retuned to Mumbai on September 8, in the morning. A source says, “Soon after she returned, the couple planned to leave for a short one-day trip to Goa.
They left on September 9 and could spend only a single day in Goa, as Priyanka had to leave for Delhi the very next day. And post that, Priyanka’s Anjaana Anjaani promotions were to start.”
An eyewitness reveals, “Shahid and Priyanka took a 12 pm flight. The flight number was 9W-475 and they both were seated in the business class section. They were with each other throughout the flight. Both Shahid and Priyanka were dressed in casuals.
Priyanka had her trademark leather jacket on. Both were wearing their dark glasses throughout the flight.”
Imagine the couple thinking: so what if the paparazzi spotted us? We’d put our shades on to blind them out. Nice. The source adds, “They spent quality time together after almost a month of being away from each other.” Apparently, Priyanka was back in Delhi the next day, walking the ramp for one of the brands she endorses, almost as though this little rendezvous in Goa was too short to have happened and hence could be wished away. Priyanka and Shahid didn’t revert with comments but for now, we’ll just let them be.

It’s been a hectic time for Hema Malini. She’s been producing a film for her daughter Esha under impossible weather conditions and back-breaking schedules in different parts of the world. Last week she had to rush with her cast and crew to Goa to shoot the carnival there.
Said Hema, “The Goa shoot was not supposed to happen now. But we needed to shoot the carnival which was held from February 13-16. So we preponed the schedule that was to happen later in the year and rushed to Goa last week. Now we’ll have to go back to Goa later.”
On Saturday, Hema had to travel from Goa to Patna for a dance recital which she had committed to perform before the unscheduled Goan trip. However, she hadn’t bargained for being put in what Shashi Tharoor so picturesquely described as the ‘cattle classes’.
Giggles the danseuse-actress, “There was no business class in the flight to Patna. I had to sit in economy. I didn’t mind at all. But the people around me seemed to be very distracted. I felt concerned for them.”
Hema had around 300 pairs of eyes gazing at her. “I don’t know why they needed to stare. You say because I’m beautiful? No. I never believed I was. My mother always taught me to stay grounded. I never started believing I was someone special.”
