Actress Pratyusha Banerjee stepped in Avika Gor’s shoes as Anandi and viewers received her with open arms. While her professional life has been written about, her personal life has always been a closely guarded secret. However, BT now gives you the scoop on her real life relationship. The actress after a few heartbreaks (reportedly the list includes a couple of popular faces from the acting industry), has finally found love in Makrand Malhotra, a businessman and an aspiring actor. His mother Pinki rents out studious for shoots. The two met through common friends around three months ago. They hit it off instantly and started seeing each other. But much like Pratyusha’s reel life, her real life too then hit troubled waters and the couple mutually called it quits for some time. There have been many splits between them ever since but the two have always gotten back together. Informs a source, “They recently had a fight and stopped communicating with each other completely. Barely months after getting together, Bipasha Basu and Shahid Kapoor are no longer an item. The break up, if you can call it that, happened about two weeks ago — just after the release of Mausam and before Bips left for Greece for a shoot. The reason? Apparently Shahid became increasingly indifferent to Bips after the initial excitement of meeting someone new waned.
A source reveals,“Bipasha takes people at face value. Although they were only just getting to know each other, she was keen to see where things would go with Shahid. Post her break-up with John, she wasn’t in a hurry to get into another relationship. She was wary of opening up to someone new, but took a chance with Shahid as he really pursued her at the start.”
However, friends and acquaintances who hung out with the seemingly cosy twosome knew the courtship would be shortlived. The source adds, “They’re like chalk and cheese. Shahid is quite controlling, while Bipasha is a free spirit. After the initial high, Bips realised Shahid was slowly distancing himself from her. The reality show certified lovers have finally parted ways

The affair started one torrid afternoon in the confines of a reality show house. And much like the many paperback romances, it blossomed in supersonic speed. Between fights, ego hassles, making up, intermittent nighttime cuddles and calls of ‘Aash- meet’, prospered a love story on prime time television.
Veena Malik, Indian televisions latest import from Pakistan and Ashmit Patel of the infamous MMS became reality television’s latest darlings.
The affair, which continued post the show with Veena delaying her return to her country, has just gone kaput. Uninvited for Ashmit’s sister Ameesha Patel’s big party held on Saturday, a very upset Veena left the city on Friday.
The affair had started to fizzle out long before that. , “It was a one-way affair from Veena’s side. She loved him, but he did not. I would say that they were never together,” says a friend of Ashmit.
Things started getting worse when Ashmit learned about Veena planting stories about them in the media. “This really bugged him. Ashmit didn’t want that kind of publicity,” informed Ashmit’s friend.

Model-turned-item girl Yana has just ended her short but beautiful romance with dancer-boyfriend Salman Khan. Though Yana has never admitted to seeing Salman, it is known that they were dating for the past six months. The two hit it off instantly on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and were spotted at several social dos hand-in hand as Yana introduced him to her industry friends and society celebs including the likes of Vijay Mallya. “Until the show was on, things were fine and their relationship was cruising, but once it ended, it was difficult for them to maintain their relationship. Yana began her second stint with B-town, as offers kept pouring in. She is very serious about her career and the two hardly got time like earlier. Mumbai Mirror had reported on Monday, April 11, 2010, how Bipasha Basu, a free bird after her break up with John Abraham, was being rather ‘friendly’ with Hollywood actor and her co-star Josh Hartnett on the sets of their period film Singularity. Now, we get you the evidence!
Our photographer Sachin Haralkar captured the two stars in Orchha chilling off the sets.
The actors looked comfortable in their refreshing summer attire taking a stroll down the hotel aisle.
Wearing a pair of hot-pants and a pale blue camisole, Bips looked casually sexy while Josh looked hot in a tee and shorts. However, what made the picture prettier was the smile on the actress’ face.
Captured around two in the afternoon, this picture was taken from the hotel lobby by Haralkar, when the actors were walking down together to have lunch.
Bipasha, whose room was on the other side of the quadrangle (the aisle they are seen walking through surrounds the quadrangle) facing the pool, came out to meet the Pearl Harbor star putting up in a room facing hers. Finishing lunch in an hour, the actors then rushed off to the sets of their film.

Model Lalit Tehlan registered his marriage in Feb; beau Rohit Bal was kept out of the loop!

Yesterday, BT broke the news that designer Rohit Bal and his model boyfriend Lalit Tehlan have split and that the ramp-scorcher is now getting married to Manizhe Karimi (Mandy). It now comes to light that Lalit is already married. And it seems like even his ex-beau Rohit is clueless about the developments. The model registered his marriage on February 18, 2011. Says a source close to the model, “Technically, Lalit is not lying when he says he will get married. A traditional wedding is planned, this was just a registered one. The families are now gearing up for a grand wedding. It could happen soon now that they are in the middle of this controversy. Rohit, in the meanwhile, has been spotted with an older man at the recently concluded fashion week. His identity is unknown. Maybe, he too has moved on,” says a source. The actress, who was previously dating Canadian businessman W Brett Wilson (53), broke up with him last year. Lisa, who stays in Toronto, often travels to New York to spend time with her new beau.
“It has been like a rebirth for Lisa. After being diagnosed with cancer, her view towards life has changed a lot. She had a deep emotional connect with ex-boyfriend Brett as they are both cancer survivors. With Paolo, it is sheer romance. She was bowled over by him. He loves travelling, is spontaneous and they share the same view towards life and work. As word spread, it threatened to jam the mobile network, with the gossip girls and the bachelor boys forwarding Bips’ message to their friends.
Meanwhile, Bipasha who is shooting in Madhya Pradesh for her international film had no idea that she’d caused a furore with her ‘message.’ Says a source close to the actress, “Her phone went missing from the set, and remained untraceable for about 24 hours. Bollywood power couples who’ve split up are being brought together by big budget endorsements and films

Nobody in Bollywood is ‘just good friends’ anymore. The A-listers have drawn inspiration from the bold and the beautiful Sushmita Sen and no longer hide their ‘on and off’ relationships. After all, it does have its advantages the much coveted media attention, big bucks from endorsements together and also the occasional publicity for a film.
And though, post breaking up, a star couple earlier would refuse to work together (Shahid-Bebo, Ash-Salman), these days money and movies motivate the exes to patch up real soon.
