Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum collects 26.46 crs in 4 days
0KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM has done remarkable business, collecting a bigger total than several biggies that opened earlier this year. The adult comedy collected Rs 23.06 crore nett in its opening weekend. The film started with gusto on Friday [7.12 crore], was affected in some parts of the country due to heavy downpour on Saturday [7.03 crore], but witnessed outstanding growth on Sunday [8.91 crore]. The youth has taken to the film in a big way!
KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM dropped around 50% on Monday as it collected around 3.25 crore nett. The lifetime business of the film will head to around 40 crore nett which is pretty good for a film like this which does not have a big cast and only has city youth as its audience. ——————————————– THE DARK KNIGHT RISES collected around 6 crore nett in its second weekend compared to a 17.94 crore nett first weekend. The drop is 65% which is okay and much better than the THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN which showed a 75% drop in week two though it came off much higher levels in week one.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES maintained well at places like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune and Bangalore despite the release of Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum. The collections outside big metros were low as the dubbed versions of the film had heavy drops.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES had a good first week of around 27.25 crore nett. The film dropped at many places but the the major metros held up well with good business at premium multiplexes.
The first week collections are the third highest ever after THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and 2012 and just edge ahead ahead of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4 and THE AVENGERS.
The English version will continue to hold at certain multiplexes of Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore but the dubbed versions will not do much from the second week onwards. —————————————— COCKTAIL held well at select multiplexes of urban centres, but the overall decline in Week 2 was noticeable. However, the 2-week total is impressive enough thanks to the robust Week 1 business. It collected approx Rs 17.8 crore in Week 2, taking the total to Rs 71.55 crore nett. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES had a good first weekend of around 17.94 crore nett but failed to show any growth over the weekend. The film has no appreciation outside the big centres of India and even there most of the business is coming from premium multiplexes. The film did very well in Mysore though, collecting a huge 2.30 crore nett plus.
The weekend is the fourth highest ever for a Hollywood film after THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, 2012 and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4. 0COCKTAIL fared exceptionally well in its opening weekend and maintained steady business at urban centres on weekdays. In particular, the film has amassed big figures from Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Bangalore. Its business in the mass belt, dominated by screen screens, ranged from average to dull. However, the revenue generated from multiplexes has helped the film put up a big, fat total. The film netted Rs 54 crore nett in Week 1. Breakup:

0BOL BACHCHAN has emerged Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty’s biggest opener ever. Though the film started on a decent note on Friday morning, the business increased rapidly during the course of the day. The business showed an upward trend at multiplexes on Saturday and reached the optimum level on Sunday. In fact, the growth in business on Sunday ranged from 35% to 50% over Friday numbers in various circuits. This happened despite strong opposition in the form of Punjabi film JATT & JULIET in North India and Telugu film EEGA in South India. BOL BACHCHAN collected approx 43.10 crore in its opening weekend.
