We’ve evolved from Dear diary to Dear Blackberry. We use this wonderful and sometimes absolutely annoying device to tell the world how we feel, vent, rant or pontificate.

And when one of the day-to-day perks of your job is that you get to see the BB status messages of stars, then life’s not just fun but also filled with insight. Here’s a quick run through my A-list and their status updates. Move over Facebook.

Shah Rukh Khan I live on the edge because I don’t like taking up too much space or something profoundly philosophical. Perhaps one of a disappearing breed that still believes in the power of subtext and subtlety. A master craftsman, even on a bad day. This is not just another BB status.

Hrithik Roshan The hotter it gets, the finer you will be (with a picture of his chiselled abs). Hmmm. He would give Paulo Coelho a run for the penny for his thoughts. In the last one year, he’s revealed a philosophical side to him that we hope is not his Guzaarish. The beard does add to the image, though. More Hmmm…

Farhan Akhtar Ranging from the corny India is a land of nau jawan means India is a land of nine soldiers to a blah I should have used a Flash. He can be tres laconic and yet reinvent the wheel. When he’s on BB, that is. He disappears from the SIM radar when shooting.
