After losing their son 16 years back, Satish Kaushik and his wife have been blessed with a baby girl last month

Sixteen years after he tragically lost his son Shanu, 56-year-old actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik is a father again. The baby girl named Vanshika was born on July 15 through surrogacy.
To Mirror, a jubilant Satish said,”By God’s grace, my wife Shashi and I have been blessed with a daughter. It is the end of a long and painful wait for a child. It is a matter of unimaginable joy especially for my wife who had her heart set on another child ever since we lost our only son Shanu when he was just two-years-old.”
For Satish, he has rediscovered fatherhood after 16 years. “Ever since Vanshika came last month, my wife and I have become like first time parents – enjoying every movement of our baby, feeding her, changing her diapers.”
And for this miracle, Satish wants to thank Dr Hrishikesh Pai. “He’s not just one of the best IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) doctors in the world, but also a close friend. I thank him for urging me and my wife to take the IVF route to parenthood. We were unfortunate in having lost our only child. Our world had come crashing down. But thanks to the world of medical miracles, we’ve become parents again at an age when parenthood is considered impossible,”said Satish.

US tabloids in mad rush to get pictures of Ash’s daughter

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has joined the ranks of Hollywood celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez, whose babies were on the list of the most wanted pictures by American tabloids and celebrity weekly magazines. In fact, there is buzz that a leading tabloid called the National Enquirer wants to get its hands on the first, exclusive pictures of Beti B.
Over the years, it has become a trend for media houses to pay ludicrous amounts of money to capture private moments of celebrity mums with their new-born babies. Needless to say, this is huge publicity for the publication in question, and those quoting the highest price often get exclusive rights to the pictures.
Ash’s pregnancy and delivery made global headlines, what with her being one of the few internationally known Indian celebs, with every leading network picking up the news. The follow-up to the development is a mad rush to bid for her daughter’s pictures and get an exclusive first look. Some tabloids and magazines are even in touch with their Indian counterparts to try and negotiate a deal if there’s any opportunity.

Abhishek wants suggestions for daughter’s name

Ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl on November 16 at Mumbai’s Seven Hills Hospital, the congratulatory messages for the Bachchan family have not stopped pouring. Abhishek Bachchan has thanked his fans for their good wishes and also asked them to suggest a name for his daughter, who they till now are referring to as Beti B.
Abhishek tweeted, “And the congratulatory messages still pour in. Thank you so much guys. All of you are wonderful and so sweet. My daughter is so blessed. And till we find a name for the little lady a dear friend@ShahanaGoswami gave me a great one. We have Sr B and Jr B already so… Beti B!”
There were a lot of speculations about the baby’s name and even the letter it should start from. But the Bachchan’s have decided to continue the legacy by asking people to suggest names from A.
Abhishek tweeted, “And suggestions for names are very welcome guys. Something with “A”.”

The actress, who played Hrithik Roshan’s foster mother in Mission Kashmir, will now have to play mum in real life too. Award winning actress Sonali Kulkarni and husband Nachiket Pantvaidya became the proud parents of a baby girl on October 18. The actress was admitted to Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, where she delivered her little bundle of joy at 12.40 pm.
Nachiket said “We are extremely happy and enjoying being parents. Both Sonali and baby are fine. We will name her in a couple of days.”
Sonali, who was last seen in the 2011 blockbuster Singham, tied the knot in a quiet ceremony on May 24 last year. We hope to see the new mother grace the silver screen again.

It is celebration time at the Bajpayee household. Manoj Bajpayee and Shabana have become the proud parents of a baby girl.
The baby was born on February 23 in a private nursing home. The gleeful father, Manoj, was shooting in Bhopal for Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan. He flew down to Mumbai for the delivery.
The couple has named their week-old daughter Ava Nayla Bajpayee. With an excitement in his voice, Manoj said, “It is an amazing feeling. I am on the top of the world. Both Shabana and my daughter are fine.”
What about your paternity leave, Manoj? “I have just returned to Bhopal. I had taken a break from my shoot and Prakashji allowed me to be with my wife during her delivery. We were quiet about it initially as I am a private person,” said Manoj.

Remix actor is now a proud papa

Television actor Habib Mithiborwala of Remix fame, who was paralyzed in the 26/7 deluge, is smiling from ear to ear. After his recovery last year, there is some more good news: the actor and his wife Shabnam are the proud parents of a baby girl.
Their daughter was born on October 15. Says Habib, “I am overjoyed. Shabnam’s presence in my life has changed it all. Our next priority is now to get a very nice and happening name for my daughter.
We had no preferences whether it should be a boy or a girl. We wanted a healthy baby and God has blessed us with one.”

Gurdeep Kohli, who made her television debut with the popular serial Sanjeevani, delivered a baby girl on Wednesday night at a suburban hospital.
Her husband, actor Arjun Punjj confirmed, “It was a normal delivery. We are both very happy.”
Gurdeep and Arjun have named their baby Meher. “We both love that name. We had shortlisted a few names – of boys and girls – before the delivery.”
After Sanjeevani,Gurdeep was seen in Sinndoor and Bhabhi. She also played the character of Bani in Balaji Telefilms’ Kasamh Se. Gurdeep and Arjun met and fell in love during the shooting of Sanjeevani, and married in 2006.
