Seen in the picture are Meera Chopra, Saurabh Shukla, Mahie Gill, Vijay Verma, Satish Kaushik, Yashpal Sharma and Rajpal Yadav on the sets of the film. Jain has chosen a mansion on the outskirts of Surat for the filming. Just a couple of days remain for him to call it a wrap for this schedule.
Check out Emraan Hashmi and Altaf Raja’s quirky jugalbandi
0Seema Sinha (BOMBAY TIMES; May 26, 2013)
Musically, Emraan Hashmi has had solid luck. He has, arguably, the most popular song bank in the last 10 years, with songs picturised on him ending up as blockbusters.
Singer Altaf Raja, it would seem would have some of that luck rub off on him. He’s the voice behind Emraan’s Ghanchakkar track Jholuraam, which releases today across television channels and radio stations. The actor and the singer will jam together in a promotional video that only underlines the film’s inherent quirkiness.
Says Emraan, “It is a huge draw to have Altaf sing Jholuraam for us. He has been the voice of the masses. When he sang Tum Toh Thehre Pardesi, the nation sang with him and it is fantastic that he is singing for my latest film. I’m looking forward to audience reactions.” Adds Altaf, “Whatever Emraan touches, turns to gold. I’m sure people will love the fun moments Emraan and I have shared in the video.”
Vidya Balan plays the female lead in the Rajkumar Gupta film.
Ghanchakkar, produced by UTV Motion Pictures, releases June 28.
