SKYFALL had an excellent first day of around 5.93 crore nett as the film scored big in South India and moreover, it was a holiday in some parts. Mysore, Nizam/Andhra and Tamil Nadu/Kerala came up with record-breaking collections. Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala both crossed 1 crore nett business on day one.

However the collections in the Hindi belt were below expectations. The approx breakdown for Skyfall in all languages is as follows.

Mumbai – 1.50 crore

Delhi/UP – 55 lakhs

East Punjab – 18 lakhs

East India – 30 lakhs
(West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Orissa)

Central India – 40 lakhs
(CP Berar, CI, Rajasthan)

South India 3 crore
(Nizam/Andhra, Mysore, TNK)
