It’s time to move over from Bobby McFerrin’s Grammy winning song Don’t Worry Be Happy. Akshay Kumar is here with his own Don’t Worry, especially created for his film OMG Oh My God!. The song, which also features Paresh Rawal, is being released today, which also happens to be the actor-producer’s birthday.

Akshay, who’s in Muscat shooting for his new movie, wasn’t aware that plans were being made to release the song today. He says, “It’s a thoughtful gesture indeed. Releasing Don’t Worry today has made my day special.”

Wishing the actor-producer every success in life, Himesh Reshammiya, who’s composed the track, says, “Akshayji is an inspiration for the entire country and OMG… will prove one more time, that he is a phenomenon in the Don’t Worry track as well as the film.”

The track, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, is believed to be a cutting edge one. As our source associated with the film reveals, “While it’s a club kind of a number, what sets it apart are the visual effects used. And that’s what adds to the song’s visual appeal, which people will see.” The video will also feature five finalists of a reality dance show. Akshay, a celeb guest at the show, had promised a big screen break to these five finalists.

Akshay will return to Mumbai tomorrow. Meanwhile, wife Twinkle, son Aarav and his production team have already made big plans to welcome him.
