Actor Aamir Khan may be crusading for several social issues on his debut TV show, but seems like there’s another issue brewing closer on his work-front that the actor’s having to tackle. There’s been constant buzz of late about his film Talaash, which also stars Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor being postponed again. And the buzz that it’s Aamir who ispushing the date has upset the actor as well as everyone associated with the film.

Denying any such delay in the film’s release, Aamir in fact says that the film will release as planned on November 30. “Over the last few weeks, I have noticed that there have been some attempts to spread rumours about my film Talaash. Clearly, someone is not very happy with the way it is progressing, and I can assure that that ‘someone’ is not anyone from our team. Reema (director Reema Kagti), Farhan, Ritesh (producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani), and I are very happy with the way the film has turned out, and I would like to clarify that Talaash is releasing as planned on November 30,” lashes out Aamir.

The film that sees Aamir play a cop, was initially meant for a June release, before being pushed to November. “When you have a good product, it would not be a wise decision to not market it well and release in a rush,” Aamir had earlier said explaining the decision of pushing the release from June to November.

As for his cop act in the thriller, Aamir reveals that it won’t be in the genre of actor Salman Khan’s Dabanng act at all. “It’s nothing like Chulbul Pandey,” he smiles.
