While Kareena, Katrina, Vidya, Anushka and Sonam are all in relationships, they love to keep the suspense going

The Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan marriage is mere months away. Ask Bebo about the exact date and she retorts, “Where’s the need to keep harping on our wedding date? I’m not hiding anything. Saif and I have been in a relationship since 2009. And we would ideally like the media to restrict their questions to our careers.’’

And while they won’t admit it, the next couple most likely walking down the aisle will be Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The two went on a series of vacations together last year, starting with the one in Goa, then Australia and now in London. This couple has been cleverly dodging questions from the media on their real equation. But we have been witness to close friends teasing them about each other in private and even on public forums (the press meet of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, where Karan Johar happily congratulated Siddharth for the success of Vidya’s The Dirty Picture. And of course, one saw Sid blush when that happened. However, he made no attempt to correct Karan).

Now, other actresses in relationships are cagey. Fair enough. They’re all ruthlessly ambitious and seem to be of the view that a ‘single status’ or a mystery around their love lives will give their careers the required boost. But that can hardly stop the grapevine from buzzing.

Katrina Kaif is reportedly seeing Ranbir Kapoor. He in turn has confessed to his close-knit circle how she’s ‘the one’ for him. An insider reveals, “Ranbir is very serious about Kat.’’

Anushka Sharma is reportedly on a vacation with Ranveer Singh. Despite convenient PR pieces by vested interests linking Ranveer with Sonakshi Sinha, and Anushka with Shahid/Ranbir Kapoor, the fact remains that Anushka and Ranveer are in a steady relationship. This couple is reportedly in Spain at this point of time on a 12-day vacay.

Sonam Kapoor kept her relationship with her I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra under wraps. Once again, those close to the two, know they are a couple and one has seen Punit being mercilessly teased by his friends from the industry. But neither the 26-year-old actress nor the one-film-old director is ready to be open about their relationships.

Priyanka Chopra’s current relationship status is a mystery and provides enough fodder for gossip mills and Deepika Padukone who made her split with Sidhartha Mallya public, is perhaps the only single girl in the top league who is currently footloose and fancy-free.
